Summary:
This position is responsible for directing, controlling, and coordinating all aspects of plant production in order to maximize the long-term and short-term profitability of the company. This requires working with Team Members to develop good working relationships and high morale, performing administrative duties and seeing that objectives are being met, and communicating with Team Members on project timelines and tasks that need to be completed immediately. Other responsibilities include developing and training Team Members, holding monthly safety meetings and group discussions, and troubleshooting areas that might cause problems with production. Additional duties include computing quarterly figures and their relationship to objectives, handling Team Member grievances, and performing other responsibilities as the need arises. This position is responsible for food safety, food quality, and legality.
REQUIREMENTS:
Education: Bachelor''s degree or equivalent.
Experience: 5 plus years.
Computer Skills: Basic computer skills.
Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Supervisory: This position is responsible for supervising a group of personnel ina single department or work unit who perform similar and/or interrelated tasks and activities.
Travel: 6 plus trips per year.
